Programme The Sports Centre Fitness Class Programme is updated every school term. Please click on the relevant link for more details: Fitness Class Timetable Fitness Class Timetable- Saturday 10th February - Sunday 25th March 2018 Important Fitness Class Notice Temporary Relocation of Classes From Monday 25 September we are running a new and temporary arrangement for fitness classes. This creates a number of logistical challenges! St Margaret’s and St Mary’s schools have offered alternative rooms where classes can take place which enables us to continue our programme with as little disruption as possible however, these school sites are heavily regulated by Ofsted and the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate. As such, there are strict policies in place with regard to visitors. To enable us to offer our programme of fitness classes, we ask that members are patient with staff in the initial weeks as we solve inevitable teething problems, and also that members stick to the guidelines below to help the system run smoothly: Meet 10 minutes earlier than your class is due to start at reception The Sport Centre need to know who is in attendance for safety reasons, and to check that they are current members. Wait for a member of staff to escort the whole group to the relevant room Even if you are a member of school staff – for above reasons. The Schools cannot have unaccompanied visitors on site, particularly during school hours (remember, St Mary’s is a school 24 hours a day)! Car parking is also an issue, please only use the main car park and then swipe your card at Reception After your class, wait to be escorted back to the Sport Centre by a member of staff and leave the site as normal. Joining classes late or leaving early is now not permitted due to the above, however if you know in advance that this is necessary for a specific reason, please ask a member of sport centre staff if a one-off arrangement is possible. We are determined to deliver a fitness programme to the same standard that both you the customer expect and that we consider to be the best we can in these circumstances. Please help us by following the guidelines and communicating politely with our staff. Your patience and understanding is appreciated Aqua Fit Morning Class We will be launching a new morning Aqua class in June, taught by Tanya. This class is in the shallow end of the swimming pool and is designed for all fitness and swimming levels. Have fun and challenge yourself with water resistance in this low impact cardiovascular workout. Non-swimmers welcome.What time? 09.00 - 09.45am What day? Every Thursday After School Children's Club - Relaunching on 10th January 2018 St Mary's are proud to announce the comeback of our Multi-activity Class for Children. It is action packed with fun drills and games. A great way for youngsters to get fit and engage in physical activity. How much does it cost? FREE for Members & just £4 for non-members.When is it? Launches Wednesday 10th January at 4:00-5:00pm!! Les Mills Sprint 30 Minute workout using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It's a quick and hard style of training that returns rapid results with minimum joint impact. The short duration of a Les Mills Sprint workout will motivate you to push your physical limits.
